Artists Cheryl Dolan, Cathy Dolan, Debra Lambden and Clément Hoeck share their work and colours with us.

I love mixing and working with paint, creating color. I have always been surrounded by color. Growing up and working in a fabric shop, a family owned business that covers three generations has influenced me. I believe the Pontiac area has influenced me also.

I live in a picturesque little village called Quyon, where a ferry connects the Quebec, Ontario border. The Pontiac area is beautiful. There are so many scenes to paint and to take pictures. I often drive the country roads looking for inspiration. If only I had more time to paint and put my ideas on paper.

My favorite medium is oil but from time to time I will paint with acrylics, watercolors, dyes on silk and some collage. More of my paintings can be seen Dolan's Fabric shop in Renfrew, Ont. and Stone Meadows Gift Shop and The Renfrew Tea Room.
